This case shows how a large multinational in the food sector used data science to improve the performance of its production lines. The industry decided to implement the ST-One Solution when it noticed that two apparently identical lines were working at different speeds. By analyzing the data collected, it was possible to find out why this situation was happening, and to fix the problem.
The impact of this action is also on profitability, when it is considered that performance is an important factor in the financial results of industries. According to the Industry Portal, there is an 86% up in productivity after the implementation of technologies in the production line.
